Our Cookie Policy

Cookies. We and our advertising partners may use “cookies.” When you use our website, the pages you see, along with “cookies,” may be downloaded to your computer or other device that you use to access our website. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your device or computer. These cookies may be used to deliver content specific to your interests and for other purposes, such as security and administrative functions. For example, cookies are used to store your preferences for certain types of information so that you do not have to input those preferences every time you use our website.  You may opt out of receiving cookie-based advertising from Google by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page and/or from other third party vendors by visiting the Advertising Initiative opt out page. You may also modify your cookie settings in your browser through your browser settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies you may not be able to fully access and use all of our services.  Also, please be aware that third parties, such as companies displaying advertisements on our website or services provided by third parties that may be linked to from our website services, may set cookies on your hard drive or use other means of passively collecting information about your use of their services, third-party websites, or content. We do not have access to, or control over, these third-party means of passive data collection.

Website beacons. We and our advertising partners may also use web beacons, pixels and clear GIFs (collectively referred to as “Web beacons”). These electronic technologies are transparent image files that, if used, allow us and our advertising partners to track website usage information, such as the number of times a given web page has been viewed and whether and when you have opened an HTML email, how many times the email was forwarded and which links in the email were clicked. Unlike cookies, these technologies are not placed on your computer or device. This information helps us to improve our website and our services and helps our advertising partners by measuring the effectiveness of these communications with you. These technologies may be used in association with cookies to understand how visitors interact with our website or advertisements made by our advertising partners.

Location information.  Some of our digital properties may collect your location to help you search for one of our stores or to use special mobile features within some of our stores. For example, US Storage Centers works with third parties to provide you helpful messaging in your mobile app when you come to our stores. We also may use this information to determine whether to provide you with content, information, and notices that may be required by law based on your location.

For any mobile application to identify your location, you must enable location services through your mobile device’s settings. If you do not want US Storage Centers to collect this information or to enable these features, you can turn off location services on your mobile device. US Storage Centers has no control over your device’s settings.
